What you need.

Two eggs for each omelette

Cheddar cheese – grated

Salt and pepper to taste

Cooked bacon

Cubed ham

Hash browns

Chopped bell peppers or onions

Salsa for topping

Use any other condiments you want for each omelette such as mushrooms, steak, broccoli, etc.

One quart freezer zip bags – use only freezer bags

What you do.

In each bag place two beaten eggs then add the ham, peppers, other ingredients and salt and pepper to taste. Lastly you add the cheese. Zip close each bag and then freeze each. When freezing be sure to set each bag upright. Remember when having the kids pick ingredients for their omelette to put each child’s name on his or hers bag. The kids really enjoy it when you add the eggs to the bag if you let them squish the eggs instead of putting already beaten eggs in the bag. When it is time for breakfast take out the bags and put bottom first into a large pot of boiling water and cook for fifteen or twenty minutes ( depends on altitude ). When you remove from bag, top with salsa of choice or eat as is.
