Venison Bean And Sausage Soup

What you need.

One to two pounds smoked sausage cut into chunks

Two 15 oz. cans Great Northern beans with juice

One 15 oz. can Navy bean with juice

One cup chopped ham

One cup chopped onions

One cup sliced baby carrots

Six cups chicken broth

Salt and pepper to taste

One can new potatoes – diced

Two celery stalks sliced thin

 

What you do:

Combine all the above ingredients in a large pot and let simmer for forty minutes. After turning off the heat let the soup set for five minutes and then serve. Goes great with hot buttered French bread.
