Venison Cube Steak Sandwiches
What you need.
One pound cube steaks cut into four equal portions
One large tomato -sliced
Four pieces sliced baby Swiss cheese
One bunch green leaf lettuce washed,deveined and patted dry
Four onion rolls
Four cloves garlic-minced
Salt and pepper to taste
Two tablespoons margarine or butter
What you do.
In a large nonstick skillet put the butter and set on medium high heat and add the garlic. Now add the steaks and salt and pepper to taste, cooking for only a few minutes until browned on each side. Do not overcook. Remember game is to e cooked medium. Put some lettuce on bottom slice of roll. Now add the steak, cheese, and slice of tomato. As an added treat you might like to add some spicy mustard of choice to each roll. This is quick to make and a real treat.
