[/checklist]

You can’t go WRONG on the MISSOURI right now, it’s been open and floatable all winter thus far, & highly productive Nymph & Streamer fishing is to be had (We’re liking the Bat Wing Emerger PMD in an 18, or the Tan Fathead streamer in a 2!) or you should see some midges in the afternoons, so get out the Dry Emergers in sz 16 or smaller and go for it!

Fish below the Dams on the MO, for your trout catch and the occasional walleye…jig the deeper holes…Blue & Silver have been the colors on the HELENA VALLEY REGULATING RESERVOIR….or hit the 10-12” ice at CANYON FERRY near the Silos, but steer clear of those pressure ridges! We’ve had reports this week that 2 ATVs have punched through recently! Get your practice in for the Broadwater Lions Perch Derby at CANYON FERRY on jan 28 & 29!

Hot Skiing

GREAT DIVIDE ski resort reports a 40” base this week, w?12” of new snow, just beware on the upper mountain as many trails aren’t groomed & the snow may be THIN. SHOWDOWN got 3” of new snow this week and has all lifts & trails open!
