Flathead Lake Jig Fishing Report from the Macman

A good place to start fishing the macs is in the trench, the deepest part of the lake, 220 to 300 feet with 250-260 feet being the magic number. Heading West from Yellow Bay; we’ve had good reports from this area. Skidoo gave up some numbers in the same 260 ft depth.

The shrimp are in these areas and the fish are feeding.

Try trolling 20 to 60 feet where the weed beds are good. The fish are feeding on minnows.

Good Fishing,

The Macman
