Hebgen Lake Ice Conditions: Ice continues to hold at around 18 inches. Slush is deep most everywhere except for the more heavily traveled areas (The Narrows, Dam, and Kirkwood Marina). Rainbows and Hybrids are the most active fish at this time being caught all over the lake. Target fish anywhere from 20 -8ft under the ice in deeper water and Just off the bottom when water depth is 15 ft or less. Browns can still be caught cruising the shorelines throughout the morning hours and are also becoming real aggressive just before and after the sun sets. Thanks to all those that helped with the 2nd kids ice fishing camp and gave it a run at the money in our “Friendly Competition”. Tight Lines!
