Chancy at Snappy’s provides the Northwest Montana Fishing Report

Chancy at Snappy’s in Kalispell says the ice is going pretty quick. Folks still fishing Bitterroot Lake. The Lower Stillwater’s good fishing for perch. Flathead Lake has open water and has had some good reports along the West Shore, and up on the Delta. Spring Mac Days is going on now every Friday through Sunday until May 20th. Over 900 lake trout were entered in the first day last Friday. Lake Koocanosa has had some good reports, with anglers putting in at Rexford limiting out on Kokannee On the East side Mission and Kemp are completely open, and Lake Francis is starting to open up too!.

Leonard from Townsend provides the North Central Montana Fishing Report

Leonard says the ice about history. Willow Creek, Nylon, Pishcun, are open, Bynum is open partially. Fishing The Missouri River has been good. Lot of trout in the Craig area, marshmallows and nightcrawlers have been good. Lake Francis by Valier & Beaver Creek around Havre are busting up.
