Chancy at Snappy’s in Kalispell says Bitterroot Lake’s picked up for kokanees trolling and jigging. The Thompson chain of lakes have had quite a few pulling pike and Kokanee out of the middle lake. Upper Thompson is doing well for perch and pike. Beaver chain of lakes like Murray Lake has been doing well for rainbows using worms and marshmallows. Lower Stillwater bit slow but they are starting to bite. McWenneger Slough just East of Snappy’s, crappies been biting pretty good along with some decent perch, bass, pike, and sunfish.

Leonard says Holter’s doing well for both trout and walleye. Willow Creek and Nilan Reservoirs have been picking up on trout. Bynum’s been doing well for trout. Lake Francis has really turned on and Tiber has been picking up as well. Fresno’s has had a good bite on crank bait and leaches. The river down below Morony Dam has been producing catfish & sturgeon, but a reminder that paddle fishing is all done. If you have any questions or need rod & reel repair call Leonard 406-454-1877
