Fly Fishing Rock Creek Photo Gallery

Early Spring is an amazing time to be outside in Montana and during the first two weeks of April, all I thought about was fly fishing. With one season of untangling knots and missing fish under my belt, I was ready to find my own holes and catch some trout.

I’d never fly fished Rock Creek before and it didn’t disappoint! My first day on the water, I caught 14 trout. Went back the next day and landed 10 more. Below is a gallery of a couple of the fish I caught.

All trout were revived and swam away under their own power. Looking forward to getting back at it, after the runoff slows and water levels lower.
