5 pound small mouth bass

We are getting lots of wind. Tuesday it was 75 and fishing was great.  Wednesday we had 50 mile an hour wind, but they fished all day and did pretty good for the wind.

We had a father and son here for three days, they limited out on walleye, northern, bass and perch, they were happy fellows. Even with the east wind yesterday, they did good. As shown in the photo above, with a 15 pound gator. More east wind again today and cooler. We just need the water to warm up again. After the wind on Wednesday the water temperature was back to 48. It turned the lake over again.

9.5 pound walleye was released

The gators and most of the bass still have their eggs. We have released three bigger walleye this week–9- 10 1/2 lbs. the biggest gator was 18 lbs. and quite a few 15- 16 lbs.

Saturday is the women’s tourney at Hell Creek.

Hope you all have great fishing this week!
