Walleye Wayne Lure and Fort Peck Fish
By Kamp Cook

It was another great trip on Fort Peck Reservoir this week. Jim Farrington from Stevensville and I went to Hell Creek. The weather cooperated with us for the most part. Early in the trip we were met with east winds but we headed west to Timber Creek and found some fish. The highlight of day came when the 2011 MORS Gauranteed Lure that was autographed by Walleye Wayne caught a nice 20 inch walleye. The only day we had tough fishing was Wednesday.

That day the wind blew hard. Thursday we headed back to Timber Creek with the Moline’s from Lewistown and had one of the best days ever on Fort Peck. Jim Farrington caught a nice 22 inch walleye and Cameron Moline caught and released a 26 inch walleye. Anything orange and green seemed to work tipped with a crawler. Most of the fish we caught were in 16-19 foot of water.
