By Matt Schauer

Chancy, from Snappy’s in Kalispell, said with the warmer weather the fishing should be picking up. He received a few good reports on Flathead Lake for trolling. Also, good reports from out of the delta river mouth. There are reports of folk catching kokanee and rainbow on Middle Thompson Lake.

For those looking to fish area rivers, it is still blown out, high, and murky. However, the Thompson River is in good shape for browns & brookees. There are good reports on Murphy Lake for large mouth bass. Reports from the Thompson Chain for smallmouth bass, a few pike, and also perch.
