Here is a recipe that should please all. It is a great fish sandwich that is relatively easy to make. Again it is tasty and well received on a hot summers night. I give you Bass and Cucumber Sauce Sandwiches.

What you need.

One pound or more Bass fillets – fresh water or salt water bass

Green leaf lettuce – enough for four sandwiches

Half cup flour and half cup yellow corn meal mixed well

Garlic powder- sprinkle lightly on fillets while cooking

Salt and pepper to taste while cooking

One very large sliced tomato

Kaiser rolls

Cucumber sauce recipe

One and a half cups of peeled and seeded cucumbers – minced

Half teaspoon dill weed

Quarter teaspoon ground red pepper

Three tablespoons mayonnaise

What you do.

Turn lightly oiled (corn oil) fry pan on medium high heat. Next coat the fillets with the corn meal and flour blend. While frying sprinkle sparingly with garlic powder and salt and pepper to taste. Should be golden on each side when done. Do not overcook. On the bottom of the bun place the lettuce, then the fish fillet tomato slice, and spread a bit of the cucumber spread on the top half of the Kaiser roll.
