Fish like a Patriot on “Fourth of July Creek” near Stevensville, Montana

We did some digging and found a great spot to celebrate Independence Day today, and what better than the “Fourth of July Creek” itself! So head over to Granite County and search for the “Fourth of July Creek”. It is said that Clark (yes, of Lewis & Clark) passed by this creek on July 4th, 1806 mistakenly traveling over Lost Trail Pass (though of course it may be wishful thinking due to very few information on this creek other than fish and location). Not only can you experience the “Fourth of July Creek” but Stevensville is a fantastic town to celebrate in and watch a great firework show. See the video below for a taste of what is to come! Not only can you fish the creek all day and celebrate with fireworks at night but you are also at the oldest permanent settlement in Montana that is full of history. A great trip for the family or get away for the adventurist angler!
