Chancy at Snappy’s says the bass fishing has been excellent off the sloughs. Also anglers throwing rapalas have caught some nice pike.

If you are fishing on Smith Lake, try using Storm Swim Baits with out the middle bait.  The fish are especially active in the evenings.

On Lake Koocanusa, we have recieved good reports up by Rexford for kokanee. Also, Beaver Lake has had some nice kokanee trolling.

On the main stem of the Flathead Lake, folks are fly fishing and doing pretty well. The Clark Fork River is fishing well with tracker patterns and hoppers.
