Be The Decoy – Hats make You the Decoy

It doesn’t take much to fool an antelope into coming in to a decoy. I have resorted to cutting out a piece of cardboard in the shape of a goat. I simply add a little white and black spray paint and it is good to go. But if you need to truly sneak up on a group of antelope in open ground. You have to “be the decoy.”

A group of guys from Bozeman created a foam hat and tshirt combo that together represent everything from antelope to elk. According to bethedecoy.com “Let’s face it – when you’re out in the field you have enough to carry – bow, range finder, calls, binoculars, and a backpack just to name a few. Our archery decoy system means no more carrying, or hiding behind, a cumbersome decoy then waiting for an animal to come to you. When you put on Be the Decoy’s system you actually become the decoy – allowing you freedom of movement and keeping your hands free to operate your bow, range finder or binoculars as needed. Give our products a try. You won’t be disappointed.”
