Great Time of Year To Be An Outdoorsmen: MORS Weekly Wrap Up
By Matt Schauer

What a week to be an outdoorsmen in Montana. Fishing is starting to pick up again with the cooler temperatures at night. While the fishing picks up, there undoubtedly will be less folks fishing because hunting is starting to take center stage. After all, you can’t be everywhere all the time, even though you might want too!

Josh Stewart, of Missoula, got a nice Billy Goat in Hunting District 329. Doug Bolender, of Kalispell, stuck a nice muley in Western Montana during a special tag hunt from a tree-stand. Steve Knudson, of Billings ended up filling his deer tag and a doe tag, last Sunday east of Billings. Read all about these hunts as we showcase “Real Montana Hunters with Real Hunting Results” on www.montanaoutdoor.com.

Check out our facebook page. Last week we picked up over 200 likes. Folks are interacting with each other at a record pace. And speaking of montanaoutdoor.com we had out largest viewer day with over 3200 page views last Wednesday. Check out for yourself, what all the outdoor folks are watching and reading about and tell a friend.

The Twisted Tea “Hot Fishing Spot of the Week” is Tiber Dam for walleye and Lake Mary Ronan for its perch.

Also congratulations to Kent Logan from Lewistown and Larry Stanley from Great Falls! They were the latest winners on the Kendall Four Seasons Subaru statewide trivia that we do twice every Saturday morning on the Montana Outdoor Radio Show. Have good week and be safe!
