North Central Montana Fishing Report

Leonard, from Roberts Bait and tackle, reports Holter Lake is still doing fair, even on the shoreline.  Try using night crawlers and marsh mellows. There are reports of anglers starting to snag a few salmon on Piscan, but its been silent on the northern fishing.

Bynum Reservoir still doing well if your fishing perch. If your fishing Francis, Tiber, or Fresno, the walleye bite is really really good. Lake Francis is a little tough to get into, but it’s easiest to put in down by the dam.

River wise, the moss is starting to settle down, because the water’s low, while they work on the dams. If you have any questions or need rod & reel repair call Leonard at (406) 454-1877.
