The MORS team received reports that a man was injured by a black bear Friday morning. The attack happened in the Black Bear Creek area of the Bob Marshall Wilderness south of Spotted Bear.
Both the US Forest Service and FWP are investigating the incident. The man was transported to the Kalispell Regional Hospital by helicopter.
