Reward Offered for Whitefish Deer Poaching Case

Montana FWP urges public to help with Whitefish area deer poaching case.  See their press release below:

Major Reward Offered on Deer Poaching Case Near Whitefish

Montana Game Wardens have been looking for information that will lead to the conviction of person(s) involved in the illegal shooting of at least 19 deer in a two year period in the Whitefish area.  These deer were shot and left to rot; some of the antlers were taken. 

Most shootings occurred at night on Farm to Market Road, Twin Bridges Road, Voerman Road, Monegan Road and other back roads in the Whitefish area. 

Anyone with information is urged to call the Crimestoppers hotline (752-8477) or 1-800-TIPMONT.   A significant reward of $4450 is being offered.  This amount may be increased; check the Crimestoppers website for updates.

Montana Fish Wildlife and Parks Game Wardens have been investigating this case for some time.  Wardens are asking for help from the public.  Anyone with any information is urged to call.
