Halloween can be a lot of fun for the entire family!  Save the spider web cupcakes and gummy worm jello bowls for the kids this year.  Make Halloween special with a “Meat Hand” dinner date at home!

white_wristbone2This hunk of hand-shaped meat loaf, topped with blackened cheese and crusty onion fingernails, resting in a bed of mashed potatoes, is sure to make anybody’s mouth water.  When you substitute the suggested beef with venison or turkey burger, you can celebrate your family’s hunting successes with this interesting meal, too.

Thanks to NotMartha.org, you can make this at home.  To spice things up a little more, you can also serve this unique main course with a side of “Maggot Soup” by adding rice on top of a shallow dish of elk stew.

Don’t let the kids have all the fun!  Click here for the “Meat Hand” recipe for your Halloween dinner date night!
