In less than a week, the general fishing season will close on November 30, 2012. The fishing of all tributaries and streams will end.

If you still need to get your fishing fix, the main rivers will remain open. You can still keep mountain whitefish for your smoker, through the winter season.

Check out this article from Bill Bean of the Ravalli Republic.  He shares his fishing knowledge and what to expect from the snowpack this winter.

Happy fishing this week.
