Montana’s general wolf season is in full swing, and wolf trapping season is less than a month away. General wolf rifle season began October 15th and lasts through February 28, 2013, while wolf trapping season in Montana begins December 15th and also lasts through February 28th.
With the total number of harvested wolves in the state of Montana this year, so far, being 66, you may be wondering where the wolves were harvested.
There is no quota for wolves this year in Montana, but if you were interested in seeing current numbers and wolf harvest locations, take a look at chart below that is posted on the FWP website.
