Old Man Winter Blows Storm Across Montana

Much of Western Montana is under Winter Storm Warnings, as the first big winter storm is expected to moved across the area.  The picture above is the radar from 8:00 p.m. (Thursday, Nov. 8)

I’m no weather man, but reports say anywhere between 1-4 inches of snow could accumulate in the valleys and up to a foot in the mountains. Temperatures are expected to drop with strong gusts of wind up to 40 miles an hour.  The storm should be gone by Friday evening, but the cold arctic air might hang around through the weekend.

Sounds like a good time get out and hunt!
