Northwest Montana Fishing Report

Chancy at Snappy’s reports the fishing is great. The whitefish are in the river. Chancy went out on the river fishing for whitefish and did well. Lake Koocanusa is fishing really well for rainbows with a really good temperature around 52-53 degrees. Beaver chain of lakes and the Thomson Chain Lakes are doing well also. On, Lake Mary Ronan the perch are still hitting in 30-35 feet of water.

Mike’s with AAble Charter’s reports Flathead Lake is producing quite a few macks with silver spoons, brat baits, and really anything with flash. The best spots have been around Douglas Island, and right out of West Shore State Park (North or South).

Also, on the November 17th and 18th, it’s the 65th Anniversary Celebration  for Snappy’s.
