“Hunting is a privilege, and the Remedial Hunter Education Program is designed to help make that point.”

That is the first sentence on the Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks (MFWP) website, describing the Advanced/Remedial Hunter Education Program.  This is a program offered by the MFWP that teaches about Montana’s hunting history, discusses reasons why people hunt and tests ethical hunting behavior and more.

Completion of this class is actually required by individuals who had their Montana hunting privileges revoked for any reason.  They will not be able to purchase a hunting license without proof that they took this class.

For more information on the Remedial Hunter Education Program and other Montana hunting information, visit www.fwp.mt.gov.
