More Southwestern Montana Mountain Lion Hunting Districts Closed

On Thursday, December 27, 2012, the hunting of all mountain lions will close, 30 minutes after sunset, in the following southwestern Montana regions.

  • hunting districts 323, 324, 325 and 327, portions of Madison and Beaverhead counties
  • hunting districts 339, 343, and 388, portions of Lewis and Clark and Jefferson counties
  • hunting districts 350 and 370, portions of Silverbow and Jefferson counties

On Monday, December 24, 2012, the hunting of all mountain lions closed in southwestern Montana hunting district 331, which includes portions of Beaverhead, Silver Bow and Madison counties.

FWP reports the pre-established harvest quota for the hunting districts was met.
