Santa’s Reindeer Got the Job Done–It’s Time to Snowmobile!

Santa’s reindeer, also known as caribou (click HERE for informative article about the difference between the two), made their way around the world toting Santa and his sleigh full of goodies, but he is ready to play now.

Now that Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, Blitzen and Rudolph are retiring for the year, Santa needs a new method of transportation, and what is more fitting than a snowmobile in the North Pole?

Being a rookie snowmobiler myself, I am interested in potentially getting one of these awesome machines.  If you are in the same boat (or sled, in this case – ha), I found some pretty cool sites that can get you pointed in the right direction that show you where to start on your search for the perfect snowmobile and the perfect places to ride.

The following website is a cool site that has a lot of information about snowmobiling:

Here is a very cool link with safety information for snowmobilers:

Here is a cool site that is specifically for people interested in “sledding the rockies”:

The following links are a couple of popular sites where you can find used snowmobiles for sale:

http://www.snowmobiletraderonline.com/

http://www.sledfinds.com/

Whichever sled you end up getting and wherever you end up riding, have a blast out there, but BE SAFE!!  I wonder what type of snowmobile Santa is considering…
