Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks is offering a Beyond BOW (Becoming Outdoors Women) workshop for ice fishing in February!   The FWP website explains the Beyond BOW workshop with the following description:

“Beyond BOW workshops are another opportunity for women to learn outdoor skills. Beyond BOW is anything we offer that is not the traditional 3-day BOW workshop.  They may be “next step” classes for women who have completed a beginner class at a BOW workshop. Or they may be one-day, one-subject classes.”

If you are a female beginner or intermediate angler, you don’t want to miss this!

WHAT: Ice Fishing Workshop for Women

WHERE: Near Bigfork, MT

WHEN: February 8-10, 2013

COST: $100.00 (includes 2 nights lodging and meals from dinner Friday through Sunday breakfast)

While the workshop is being held at Big Sky Bible Camp, with the fishing on nearby Peterson Lake, this three-day event will familiarize you with ice fishing equipment such as fishing rods, tip-ups, ice augers and sonar fish finders. It also includes other optional indoor activities and night fishing.
