Big Sky Resort – Taking a Look Back at December 2012 Holiday Season

Not only was Big Sky Resort breaking record numbers in lift ticket purchases over this past holiday season, the town of Big Sky was busier than ever. Never have I seen a true ‘rush hour’ in Big Sky Town Center on my walk home from work, dodging cars, ice and having quite the opposite experience as usual with maybe one car passing by.

The snow wasn’t as epic as the first couple of weeks in December, but there was still some inches of snow that fell along with the sun shine giving Big Sky blue bird day after blue bird day. Big Sky Resort made a video for ringing in 2013 and looking back at the peak record holiday season of 2012.

I would say it has been a very successful winter season so far with either powder days or blue bird days, don’t you think!? On top of Lone Peak on a blue bird day will make you speechless, I promise.

We at montanaoutdoor.com hope you all had a wonderful holiday season and don’t forget to PRAY FOR SNOW!

Don’t forget if you have a frequent skier card it is half off all next week at Big Sky Resort!
