Chancey from Snappy’s in Kalispell says that they are catching kokanee on Lake 5, Lake Mary Ronan only has 2-3 inches of ice. Thompson upper and lower are froze. Leonard from Robert’s Bait and Tackle says little bit of ice out there. Holter’s froze over with 6 inches down by Log Gulch, Nylon and Willow Creek have over 10 inches, Bynum has over 20 inches, Francis has 12-14, on Tiber 10 inches in the Willow Creek Arm and warns us about the thin ice by Bootlegger, Fresno has 10-14 inches, Baileys has 10-14 inches, Beaver Creek has over 8 inches, Arod and Newland have 10, Ackley has 11, and Piscan has 14 inches. A lot of perch out of Bynum, Francis doing well on Northern’s with a few nice perch, but Francis has been hot and cold, and Tiber’s been producing 10-25lbs Northerns.
