Thin Ice Rescue Fail [VIDEO]

The cold weather we are experiencing is finally making ice on the nearby lakes. I, for one, like the thought of finally getting “good ice.” I am a big fan of ice fishing and have been waiting longer than usual this year for enough ice to walk out on. Unfortunately for the people in the following video, they couldn’t wait that long.

Rule #1 on thin ice – Spread out. With less than 2 inches, stay off. 4 inches are the minimum for ice fishing and 5 inches minimum for snowmobiles or ATVs. 12-15 inches is enough to support your pickup. But with the people in the following video, they all group up and stand near the edge of thin ice.
