This Saturday, over 100 competitors from all over the Northwest will compete in Montana’s premiere Snowboard Event the Volcom’s 2013 Peanut Butter Rail Jam hosted at Moonlight Basin Ski Resort. True to the name, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches galore will be present to get your grub on. Don’t forget about free prizes (all competitors get free volcom t-shirts and other goodies)!

You will also be able to watch the competition right from the deck of Headwaters Grille at Moonlight Basin Ski Resort, where there is a fire pit to stay warm and a playground for the kids. So parent’s this is definitely something you can enjoy without strapping on the gear if it is a hassle or if skiing and cold not up your alley.

What Is It All About?

Peanut Butter Rail Jam is Volkom’s absolutely FREE amateur snowboard competition series. The message of this rail jam is to bring out the true fun and creativity of snowboarding and bring it straight to the kids. Moonlight has three rails set up side by side creating an open format that is referred to as the ‘railzone’. If you are not familiar with rail jams, the rails are usually set up 3 in a row, keeping the creativity theme alive from the start.
