Montana’s spring male turkey hunting season begins April 13 this year. The deadline to apply for a Montana spring turkey permit in some Montana counties is March 7.
Applicants, must have a 2013 conservation license to be eligible to apply, will find the spring turkey permit areas in FWP Regions 2, 3, and 4 listed on the application. There is a $5 application fee.
Resident and nonresident spring turkey permit application forms will be available Feb. 25 on the FWP website at fwp.mt.gov. Go to the Hunting page, click “Licenses and Permits” then “Paper Applications“.
