Ice Disappearing Fast but Fishing Still Hot

March 2nd Summaries

-Angie at Bob Wards says in Helena the warmer weather adds caution on the ice.  Canyon Ferry Reservoir has been hot and cold, and in Butte there’s been some good fly fishing on the Big hole.
-Brett French Outdoor editor of the Billings Gazette says with the warmer weather in the Billings area, the rivers are probably going to be hit hard as the days get longer.
 Shelby from Rocky Mountain Supply in Dillon says the ice on Clark Canyon is 6 inches and diminishing pretty quick.  
-Dale from Don’s in Lewistown says fishing’s being caught through the ice, Ackley Lake is doing well on bait and corn, been strong for folks headed to the Big Dry Arm, Forshed, and Hellcreek.  
Dallas at Highline Cleaners in Chester says the perch on Tiber’s been pretty good, and with the warmer weather the North shore is going to start opening up.  
-Mary Beth Kibler of Kibler Outfitting says the ice fishing is holding up if you are really careful, but Mary Beth says she’s going to wait until next year to go ice fishing.
-Robert from Malta Marine says fishing on Nelson is good for perch and Northern’s.
-Ron Aashiem says it is a new license year for fishing.

– Tammy from Northwest Sports in Eureka says the kokannee is starting to bite out on glen, but its been slow getting them this year.
