An important deadline for hunters is Wednesday, May 1. That’s that last day to apply for moose, bighorn sheep, bison and mountain goat licenses available through a special drawing.
The next big deadline is June 1 to apply for antelope, deer B and elk B licenses.
Drawing results for Montana’s recent deer and elk permit drawing are now available from FWP’s one-stop shop for online drawing status information. Visit the FWP website at fwp.mt.gov, then click MyFWP.
