In light of feedback from Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks’ constituents, the Woods Ranch WMA Grazing Lease draft EA public comment period has been extended through 5:00 p.m., May 13, 2013, which will provide greater opportunity for the public’s input on this project. The proposed action for the grazing project for the Woods Ranch WMA in Lincoln County (T37N, R26 & 27W) will allow cattle provided by a local rancher to graze on the WMA to better manage vegetation for wildlife cover and forage.

Copies of the draft are available at the MFWP office, 490 N. Meridian Rd., Kalispell; Montana State Library, 1515 E 6th Ave., Helena; MFWP State Headquarters, 1420 E 6th Avenue, Helena; Lincoln County Libraries; and the FWP website at fwp.mt.gov under Public Notices.
