FWP Reports “Seven Mule Deer Poached North of Grass Range”

State game wardens are seeking information regarding the poaching of seven mule deer does northwest of Grass Range in central Montana.

The poaching apparently took place over the Easter weekend. The mule deer were scattered over a 10-square-mile area along rural roads north of U.S. Highway 87 and west of state Highway 19.

Central Montana Crime Stoppers and Fish, Wildlife and Parks’ TIPMONT are each offering rewards up to $1,000 for help in solving this crime.

Anyone with information about this incident is urged to call 1-800-TIPMONT; informants are kept confidential.
