The weather has decided to stay warm meaning the walleye will provide some excellent fishing on the lakes and below the dams. If you’re below Hauser Dam try chartreuse jig heads along with a chartreuse gulp.

If you want to mingle with other anglers, Beaver Creek can provide a good day of wade fishing. It’s also a nice little spot if you’re itching to get that boat out. Put in at the Gates of the Mountains and run up river to follow the Rainbows as they begin to spawn.

The Missouri river is fantastic fishing right now, especially nymphing, with emerger patterns getting the most attention. Streamer and dry fly fishing has not yet picked up, so it’s all about the nymph fishing for the moment on the Mo. We’d recommend throwing some Blue-winged olives.

Well folks it looks like ski season is just about over. This weekend you can catch a few pnod skimming events at the local hills. We at the Bob Ward’s ski department would like to say a big thank you to all our customers.
