Montana is known for random weather patterns and unusual temperature changes, but did you know that the largest recorded temperature change over a 24-hour period dates back to January 15, 1972 in Loma, Montana?  According to wikipedia.com, the tempearture rose from a bone-chilling -54 degrees to a 49 degree temperature in one day!

Now, THAT would be something to experience!
