Day One Fresno Walleye Challenge Results Are In!

The Montana Walleye Circuit kicked off this weekend with the Fresno Walleye Challenge on the Fresno River consisting of 102 teams. Here are the teams that scored highest for day one:
First place Brian Rooney and Curt Campbell from Townsend 14.42 pounds

Second place Jeff Wohler from Black Eagle and Micheal Smith from Great Falls 13.58 pounds

Third Place Jim Muscat from Bozeman and Dave Greger from Gallatin Gateway 13.56

Only 7 pounds separates the Leading team and the 20th Place team  after day one

Largest walleye  4.74 pounds
Longest Northern 29 inches

For 2013, the Montana Walleye Circuit will consist of 4 tournaments across the state beginning in June with the last tournament in August. Tournament dates and locations are:

June 8-9th Fresno Walleye Challenge – 100 teams
June 22-23rd Canyon Ferry Walleye Festival – 150 teams
July 27-28th Tiber Walleye Tourney – 125 teams
August 10-11th Fall Classic on Fort Peck – Crooked Creek or Fourchette Bay – 75 teams location depends on water levels.
