MORS Weekly Wrap Up
By OutdoorAly

It has been a full week of beautiful spring weather here in Montana. Most rivers and streams are still a bit blown out, so the fishing success is all over the map. Missouri River is doing well, and in Bozeman there have been sighting of salmon flies on the Big Hole. We hear through our MORS grapevine that the Kokanee in the Eureka area are biting, and  Walleye out east are doing good around Ft. Peck. However, we have had some river tragedies around the state recently, so please be safe and always be on watch when out fishing. A local fisherman’s body was found at Tiber Dam area, I reported the story at this  link. Here are the other popular stories from last week:

1. A WOMAN’S ANSWER TO THE CALL OF NATURE!
“Alright, I will give you a warning fellas…”

2. FISHING FOR GOPHERS
“Whomever said you need water to go fishing obviously hasn’t tried gopher fishing…”

3. CANYON FERRY CARP SAFARI RECAP AND RESULTS
“Although neither of us had a lot of experience bowfishing…”

4. CATCHING A BIGGER FISH THAN EXPECTED
“Catching a bigger fish than expected is usually not an issue…”

Keep reading and we promise to keep you entertained with stories from the outdoors around Montana. It is shaping up to be another fabulous summer full of camping, fishing, floating and all the good stuff we can cram into three months of warm weather. Our trivia winners this week were Lonnie Selby of Eureka and Greg Johnson Fortine, MT, and Diane Thomas of Columbia Falls, Montana won herself a Montana Club gift card.
