Chancy at Snappy’s says the Lower Thompson been excellent for pike down around the East End fishing smelt or whole fish under a bobber, and Rapala X Wraps or Husky Jerks are working real well also. Another good spot is the Flathead River Sloughs been quite a few in the 20lb mark and some up to 30.

Lynch and IslandLake in the PleasantValley areas been excellent on small pike, for those going try spinner baits and weightless spoons.

IslandLake is doing pretty well on perch, most are in the 7-10 inch range.

Horseshoe Lake in the Thompson Chain, a few Tiger Musky have been caught these last couple of weeks. Sound like big spinner baits or the large musky baits are doing well for that, with a few small mouth also.

Kokanee fishing on BitterrootLake’s been doing better trolling then jigging, but it has slowed up a bit.

SwanLake been picking up a few nice fish in the 12-14inch range, mostly trolling.

Chancy and his wife went to CarpenterLake by Eureka, and caught a lot of small and large mouth bass in that 1-2 lb range. And they were getting a few hits on that big stock of rainbows in there as well.

Fly fishing Thompson River still doing well on brown trout and brook.  Chancy advised against the main stem of the Flathead because its really high and muddy with the recent rain and blew it out.
