The Walleye are Biting at Canyon Ferry

Jim, from Sheridan, Montana, is pictured above holding up a couple of nice Canyon Ferry walleye during his recent fishing trip with Steve Hellegaard, from Missoula, and the Captain.

The walleye bite is on on the south end — in between thunderstorms.

Boaters are trolling in 6-12 feet of water, and night crawlers are the bait of choice, with anything from a smiley blade to a slow death with a red bead.  Captain had the most success in front of Pond 1.
