The name of the festival is called “Tie One On” it is put on by Madison River Foundation every year. Ennis knows how to throw a party, especially when there’s a good reason to celebrate. The art and sport of fly fishing is worthy of that purpose. Plan a trip to Ennis over Labor Day weekend and join the festivities.

Activities and events include: Fishing Competitions and Skill Development Seminars, Rods, Reels, Flies, and Equipment Displays, Conservation Group Booths, Book Signings, and Literary Events, Guest Speakers, Celebration of the Arts Antiques and Collectible Displays, Entertainment, and Food.

The mission of the Madison Fly Fishing Festival is to create a venue for fly fishermen to meet and share their wide variety of interests, skills, and concerns related to the sport of fly fishing and to support the Madison River Foundation (MRF).
