Canyon Ferry: Fishing continues to be consistent throughout the reservoir. Rainbows are mostly being caught mid-reservoir to the Dam trolling attractors, tipped with worms, at depths around 20 feet. Shoreline anglers are catching fish using worms and/or marshmallows. Walleye are being caught throughout the south end and mid-reservoir areas using a worm harnesses, crank or slow-death rig at varying depths. Vertical jigging, in 5 to 45 feet of water, from mid reservoir to the Dam, continues to produce fish. Yellow perch are on the bite. Adam Strainer, FWP, Helena

GoldentroutHauser: Rainbow fishing is fair in the morning hours while trolling cowbells and worms or Thomas Lures between Black Sandy and the Power-lines. The rainbows are being caught in 25 to 35 feet of water. A few rainbows are being caught from shore at Black Sandy on Powerbait. The Causeway is producing a lot of small walleye from both shore and boat. Using a jig or slip bobber with a worm is working the best. The area from Lakeside to Spokane Creek has produced some larger, but fewer walleye catches. Troy Humphrey, FWP, Helena

Holter: The rainbows have gone deep, but those trolling cowbells at 25 to 35 feet deep are finding good results in the early mornings from Split Rock to Holter Dam. Shore fishing for rainbows is slow. Walleye fishing has produced some good action in the lower reservoir. Using jigs in 6 to 10 feet of water has been the best bet. The perch action still continues to be good in 2 to 15 feet of water with the larger perch being caught a bit deeper. Troy Humphrey, FWP, Helena
