Brett French Outdoor editor of the Billings Gazette the weather this past week has been unusual.
Chancy at Snappy’s says area fishing’s been good.  AshleyLake’s been producing kokannee, few guys trolling and the rest are jigging. 
Dallas at Highline Cleaners in Chester says the walleye’s are out there, but you have to go vertical for them.
Dale from Don’s in Lewistown says AckleyLake has slowed down but is still producing rainbows.

John Harris from Lakeside Resort in Trout Creek says pike, perch, walleye and bass are biting.   
Noah from Rock Creek Marina says The Dry Arm has been pretty good for Northern and bass.
Robert from Malta Marine says the fishing on Nelson at the For Shed Tournament has been good.

Ryan Corwin talks about the 10th Annual Shooters Saturday at Deer Creek August 3rd.
Ryan from Bob Wards describes the MT FWP restriction on fishing times and areas affected.  In Helena terrestrials are recommended for dry fly fishing.
Tammy from Northwest Sports in Eureka says kokannee fishing is best at 50ft.
 Shelby from Rocky Mountain Supply in Dillon says the fishing has been really good, especially on the Big Hole in the early mornings.
 Woody from Woody’s Lures in Townsend says the fly fishing the Yellowstone is best
