Regarding the 15th Annual Mac Attack/Whitefish Jigfest, scheduled for August 24-25 at Flathead Lake, we have two added bonuses for the fishing contestants.

Snappys Sports Senter is offering a $100 gift card for anyone that can beat 31½-pound Lake Trout that Cameron Hockett caught in 2003 or 2004. It will take a 32-pounder to beat the record, which we will add to the $1,000 first place prize.

Also, anyone who can beat Steve Schencks’ 4.739-pound Northern Pike Minnow will receive a $25 gift certificate from the Scoreboard Pub & Casino, making a 5# or larger squawfish worth $225.

We will also be auctioning a Giant Rapala Plug for the Kids Hooked on Fishing Program.

We will have a 50/50 raffle drawing for the Kids Hooked on Fishing Program.

Tickets are $25 and available at Snappys and Sportsman Ski Haus in Kalispell, Zimmers Tackle – Pablo or by calling Gene Fincher 406-261-644.
