Big male wolf hit by a car on highway 93 at 520 pm. Broad daylight. One mile north of town of Stevensville. Came out of the river bottom heading towards Mr Ed Cummings cattle.
The above text was just recently posted on the Facebook page of Senator Scott Boulanger, of Darby. He estimates the wolf to be around 5 or 6, after checking out his teeth. He also guesses that the wolf would weigh in somewhere around 90 pounds.
Please be aware of your surroundings if you are in this area near Stevensville–especially if you are with dogs, horses or children.
