ATTENTION HUNTERS AND ANGLERS. The following weather report is by the US National Weather Service – Missoula, MT.  This is good news for many hunters. Please plan your outdoor activities accordingly:

Approaching cold weather system will make it feel like November this week. Snowfall could start impacting travel over area mountain passes (Lost Trail, Lolo, MacDonald, Homestake) as early as late Tuesday. Central Idaho and southwest Montana could then see a significant snow storm developing above 5000 feet late Wednesday and Wednesday night.

In lower valley locations like Missoula, a wet snow is possible with rain showers early Thursday morning, then a potential season-ending freeze may hit Thursday night.
